Urban Chic is Sydney’s most positively reviewed property styling company, with a consistent track record across a wide range of property types and price points.
Property styling cost in Sydney varies depending on the size of the home, the level of styling required, and the campaign length. This guide explains how pricing works, what affects the cost, and how to make sure your investment supports a strong sale outcome.
Property styling is priced per project rather than from a fixed price list.
Each home is different. A one-bedroom apartment with a short campaign requires a different level of supply and time compared to a large, luxury home with multiple living areas and a longer campaign.
While the pricing varies, the structure behind it is consistent. Once you understand what goes into a quote, it becomes easier to assess whether the cost is aligned with your property.
Your Positive Experience Is Our No.1 Priority.

What a difference Juliana made to our villa in styling it ready for a sale that ultimately reached a record villa sale for our suburb and I attribute that directly to the presentation of the villa by urban chic. It was an efficient process of Juliana visiting and visualising what furnishings would showcase the property and arranging a day that it would be done prior to the campaign beginning. Everything happened when they said it would and we were delighted with the outcome . I have no hesitation recommending them … they know their stuffPosted on Google Rebecca BowerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a brilliant experience with Kristy and her team. Her prices were very competitive and her styling so different to everything else I had seen about. I really think it gave my place a point of difference from all the other units for sale at the time. Kristy has a great eye and great style, particularly the artwork. I'm firmly convinced I would not have got the price I did if not for her great styling. The team were very professional with installation and removal. Everyone was lovely. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking to style their property for sale.Posted on Google Lisa SinnisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have worked with Urban Chic on 2 occasions and both times Juliana offered us her personal care and attention. Unlike some other styling businesses, Juliana took the time to understand our needs and also how we used our spaces, so that she could choose the most fitting items to best represent our home. There was one room I was not 100% happy with and Juliana went out of her way to restyle it and even went out and bought items to make sure it looked amazing. I highly recommend Juliana and her team at Urban Chic.Posted on Google Dianne BowmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our home was styled beautifully and I believe it helped us sell for a great price! The team were so efficient and the transformation happened quickly. It was so easy for us!Posted on Google Greene HolidayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In selling our property in Banner Rd Kingsgrove the best decision we made was choosing McGrath St George, the second best was accepting the recommendation to use Urban Chic for the property styling. Juliana transformed the inside of the 86 year old house with brilliant furnishing and dressing options. There's no doubt that the quality of her work contributed to the remarkable sale price. Thank you Juliana, you really know your stuffPosted on Google Bruce RichardsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We highly recommend Julianna and her team at Urban Chic Property Styling. Our villa had great bones, and Julianna elevated it beautifully with a relaxed beach theme. We received wonderful feedback from both buyers and friends - everyone commented on how well presented and fantastic the villa looked. Julianna and her team were a pleasure to work with, and the setup and removal were completely seamless. The quality of the pieces they supplied helped us achieve the sale price we were aiming for - and we even sold it before auctionPosted on Google Sandra PollackTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We engaged Kirsty @ Urban Chic to style my mother’s home in preparation for sale, and the results have been outstanding. She was professional, friendly, and clearly understands how to position a property to attract buyers. The transformation has completely elevated the home, making it feel modern, spacious, and highly appealing. We would not hesitate to recommend Kirsty and her team to anyone wanting to present their property at its absolute best.Posted on Google Antonio GeradaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hi Kristy, your team from the very beginning were very professional, polite, courteous and made my wife and I relaxed. They assisted with some of my requests as I'm not as able at my age as I used to be. Nothing was a problem, and they continued with their work without a break until it was done. They're a credit to your business.Posted on Google Michelle ArmstrongTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to express my deepest thanks to Kristy Winiata from Urban Chick Styling for the outstanding work she did in preparing my home for auction. Having lived in my home for over 40 years, the selling process was extremely emotional for me. As an older woman, I felt a great deal of anxiety, but Kristy’s support, kindness, and guidance made all the difference. From the moment she walked in, Kristy went above and beyond. She offered thoughtful suggestions, handled everything with care, and made the entire styling process smooth and stress-free. Her talent and eye for detail transformed my home, and I truly believe her work played a major role in the fantastic price I achieved at auction — far beyond what I ever expected. Kristy has a beautiful manner and nothing is ever too much trouble for her. I am sincerely grateful for everything she did, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you’re preparing a property for sale, you would be missing out if you didn’t reach out to Kristy for her expertise. Thank you so much, Kristy for all your help and support. Michelle Armstrong
The cost of styling a property in Sydney is driven by a few key factors.
More rooms require more furniture, styling time, and installation work. Smaller apartments sit at the lower end, while larger homes naturally require a higher investment.
Full styling involves supplying all furniture and décor. Partial styling works with existing furniture and supplements what is needed. You can explore both options through full property styling and partial property styling.
Different homes require different levels of styling. A higher-value property may need a more refined finish, while a more modest home does not need to overspend.
Most styling campaigns run for six or eight weeks. Longer campaigns or extensions are priced accordingly.
Factors such as stairs, lifts, and parking can influence installation time and are considered in the quote upfront.
Most Sydney properties fall within standard coverage. For areas further out, this is addressed clearly in the quote.
The most important decision affecting cost is whether your property requires full or partial styling.
Full styling means the home is completely furnished and styled.
The cost reflects the full scope of supply, but it also delivers the strongest transformation in presentation.
Partial styling works with your existing furniture and enhances it with carefully selected pieces.
Even a smaller styling scope can change how a property is perceived. Improving layout, balance and presentation can strengthen the emotional response from buyers and support a better campaign outcome.
The final cost depends on the amount of furniture required, the style of the property, and factors such as location and access.
A clear quote should show exactly what you are paying for.
Any additional items or changes are outlined separately so there are no surprises.
The cost of styling is best understood in the context of the sale outcome.
Even a small improvement in the final sale price can outweigh the cost of styling. For many Sydney properties, the difference in presentation directly influences how the campaign performs.

A lower quote does not always lead to a better outcome.
These factors may not be obvious at first, but they can affect how buyers respond to the property.
The goal is not to minimise the upfront cost. It is to achieve the strongest possible result at sale.
The most accurate way to understand cost is through an in-home assessment.
The process typically involves:
Provide the property details and campaign timing
The property is reviewed to confirm scope
A detailed quote is provided within 24 hours
Once confirmed, installation is scheduled
This approach ensures the pricing is clear and tailored to your specific property.
Styling fees are payable prior to installation.
All costs are outlined upfront in your quote so you can plan accordingly. Flexible payment options may be available depending on the campaign.
Property styling is available across Greater Sydney including the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, CBD, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills District, Western Suburbs and Sutherland Shire.
Pricing is consistent across locations. The main variables are the property itself and the scope of styling required.

The clearest way to understand the cost for your property is to speak with a stylist.
Provide your property details and campaign timing, and you will receive a clear recommendation and itemised quote.
Costs vary too widely for an “average” figure to be useful. A small partial styling job sits at one end of the range; a full styling job on a large luxury home sits at the other. The honest answer for any specific home comes from an in-home assessment, which we provide free of charge. As a rule of thumb, the styling investment is usually a small percentage of the property’s expected sale price.
On most Sydney homes, yes. Even a 1 to 2% uplift on the final sale price typically more than covers the styling cost, a 7 to 10% uplift can be life changing. Styled homes often sell faster too, which reduces campaign carry costs. The ROI tends to be strongest on properties where presentation is the deciding factor between an okay sale and a strong one.
Partial styling is generally a marginally lower investment than full styling because we work alongside your existing furniture rather than replacing it. That said, partial is not always the cheapest path; if the existing furniture needs to be heavily supplemented, the savings narrow. The cheapest option is whichever produces the best sale outcome for the cost, which we will help you determine during the assessment.
Speak with us about flexible payment options that may suit your situation. Standard terms are payment prior to installation, but we are happy to discuss alternatives such as our popular “Style Flow” finance product.
No. Every quote we send is itemised so you can see exactly what you are paying for. The quoted price is the price you pay; the only time the cost would change is if the scope changes mid-campaign, in which case we send a clear amended quote upfront.
Yes. Collection at campaign end is included in the standard quote. We coordinate access and complete collection in a single visit.
Furniture hire alone gives you the pieces but not the design, layout, or presentation work that turns a furnished home into a sale-ready one. Property styling includes the design and installation work, the soft styling, layout decisions, artwork, finishing touches, that make the difference at sale. The cost is higher than pure hire, and the outcome is fundamentally different.
We can also provide you with a quote based on a floor plan if available.
Same-day response on new enquiries. The in-home assessment is usually booked within a few days, and the itemised quote follows within 24 hours of the assessment.
Hire extensions are charged pro-rata against the standard hire fee. Just let us know as early in the campaign as you can and we will confirm any extension cost in writing.
No travel surcharges in our core Greater Sydney coverage area. For properties on the outskirts, a small travel allocation may apply, which we flag in the quote upfront.
